　　六、千年名城，小吃天堂

　　Millennium city, snack paradise

　　“成都风味独特、品类繁多的小吃，与其肴馔一样脍炙人口。从各色小面到抄手、饺子，从腌卤到凉拌冷食，从锅煎蜜饯到糕点汤元，从蒸煮烘烤到油酥油炸，琳琅满目，各味俱全，种类不下200种。”

　　“The unique flavor snacks coming in numerous kinds in Chengdu, are as popular as Sichuan cuisine. For over 200 kinds of snacks, they vary from noodles to dumplings, from stewed dishes to cold food, from fried confection to sweet stuffing, etc。”

　　(一)龙抄手

　　Long's Wonton

　　‘龙抄手’始于二十世纪四十年代初，龙抄手的各式抄手形似菱角，皮薄馅饱、入口爽滑、细嫩鲜香，被誉为‘中华名小吃’、‘成都名小吃’。

　　Opened in 1940s, Long's Wonton offers different varieties of chestnut-shaped wontons with thin wrappers and rich stuffing. Delicate, tender and tasty, Long's wonton is rated both as the Famous Snack in China and the Famous Snack in Chengdu。

　　(二)赖汤圆

　　Lai's Tangyuan(glutinous rice ball)

　　赖汤圆迄今已有百年历史。滋润香甜，爽滑软糯，成都最负盛名的小吃之一。

　　By today, Lai's Tangyuan has had over one hundred years of history. Juicy, tasty, sweet, and delicate, the glutinous rice ball is one of the most famous side dishes in Chengdu。

　　(三)韩包子

　　Han's Baozi(Stuffed Bun)

　　成都名小吃韩包子有八十多年的悠久历史。包子味道鲜美：‘南虾包子’、‘火腿包子’、‘鲜肉包子’等品种享誉成都。

　　As famous local snack in Chengdu, Han's baozi has a history of over 80 years. Fresh and tasty, the Nanxia Baozi(Shrimp Baozi) are among the most famous in Chengdu。

　　(四)担担面

　　Noodles Sichuan Style

　　担担面是著名的成都小吃。用面粉擀制成面条，煮熟，舀上炒制的猪肉末而成。成菜面条细薄，卤汁酥香，咸鲜微辣，香气扑鼻，十分入味。

　　Noodles Sichuan Style is one of the famous Chengdu snacks. It is made from the flour noodles and fried pork source. The noodles are quite thin and slim, salty spicy, fragrant, and very tasty。

　　(五)钟水饺

　　Dumpling Zhong

　　钟水饺以其独特风味蜚声海内外，是成都著名小吃。与北方水饺的主要区别是全用猪肉馅，不加其它鲜菜，上桌时淋上特制的红油，微甜带咸，兼有辛辣，风味独特。

　　Dumpling Zhong is famous all around the world because of its unique taste, and it’s a famous snack of Chengdu. The main difference of Dumpling Zhong from dumpling in north China is that all the stuffing is pork instead of any other vegetables. When it is cooked, it would be sprinkled with spicy oil. The taste is slightly sweet and salty, while also spicy, and distinct。

　　(六)三大炮

　　Three bangs

　　三大炮是著名的四川小吃，主要由糯米制成，由于在抛扔糯米团时，三大炮如“弹丸”一样，发出“当、当、当”的响声，故名“三大炮”。吃时配以“老鹰茶”，别有风味。

　　Three bangs is one of the famous Chengdu snacks. It is made from sticky rice, and got the name when people heard ”bang, bang, bang” during its making process。
